We bought a condo in a three flat downtown in the East Village area and to our dismay, the builder did not do a good job at building the place.
We have had many issues for a building that is only 7 years old. We have been told that we might have a good case against the builder who won’t help us with all of these latent defects. Is this true?
You may have a good case, depending on a couple of things. An attorney would have to look at, among other things, your contract with the builders, and would have to know the extent of your problems.
As with most cases, the devil is in the details. So get in touch with an attorney who would be willing to talk to you and look at your documentation. If I can be of any help, e-mail me.
