Attorney Freezing Funds: Should I Fight it With Another Attorney?

An Attorney’s office froze me and my husbands bank account due to a citation that I feel was satisfied already years ago.

Now it seems as if they’re doing it again. Both of us are receiving pension and S.S.I. only, and I feel as if we’re exempt from them doing this. I can’t pay my bills because our funds are directly deposited. I told them this and now they are no longer answering their phone.

Should I get another attorney to force them unfreeze my funds?

I suggest that you retain an attorney. The account balance may already be satisfied and the citation may not be effective against your accounts.

I agree with the previous comment. Look for attorneys that provide free initial consultations. After talking with a few, you will get a good idea about whether or not you have a viable claim.
