I have called the Service master for helping me out in case of Water overflow in basement.
When they came in I asked for estimate they created lot of excuses to provide and estimate so I asked them rough estimate.
They told me around $2000 but now next day they send me bill of $3800!
My question: Is there a way I can file a fraud case?
They also showed me Sample pricing list which was showing 0.35 cents per SQ FT now they charged .85 cents per SQ. ft
Note : They DID NOT provide written estimates and that is the issue.

I think an estimate is just a rough dollar amount as to what services will cost. It can end up being under or over but usually over
.. In my opinion, If you signed something authorizing them do the work then, you owe them money.. I know that’s not your question either. I probably wouldn’t pay them the full $3800 until they show me why the final amount was close to double what the quoted me verbally. Hahaha, Just pay them the 2k and let them be worried about collecting the difference.
