Illegal Immigrant Sues Radio Station….WTF?
The illegal immigrant summons to the radio station following a law that illegal immigrant is quoting a radio station because it has followed federal law in the United States claim to provide a valid number of tax identification or social security to give her first a prize won in a competition.
When the Mexican woman, living illegally in Chicago for 15 years, could not provide the appropriate documents, the station has refused to giver the prize. The woman had won a sports car previously owned by a popular Mexican singer and federal law requires the station to report the number of social security for everyone wins a prize worth more than $ 500.
Now the illegal immigrant, Maribel Nava Alvarez, is actually quoting the station Spanish-language Chicago, WLEY, for the fracture of the contract. His lawyer says that the station never informed his client who had to be a legal resident of the United States to be eligible for the prize.
The station is owned by the largest radio broadcasting system ispana broadcasting Spanish Florida-based in the United States, Miami. The company owns stations in markets including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, New York and San Francisco and is considered a champion for the rights and the legalization of immigrants workers.
Never less, the company operates in the United States and must adhere to federal laws of of the country. An editorial of the newspaper of the Chicago sums up the irony of the legal rights to search for this woman in a country whose laws violated for most of his life. Law, in part: For Alvarez requires a fracture of the contract if it could not supply the number legally required tax identification or social security, let alone proof of legal residence, is to seek protection under the laws of a country to which has never sworn an oath. Sounds to me as it is giving all foreigners not documented a bad reputation.
Can an illegal immigrant sue someone? This person should be arrested and deported. Talk about wasting everyone’s time and money. What the hell is wrong with this country?

sounds like the radio station did not list that the winner must have a SSN or be a legal US resident, or she would not have a case. Regardless if her case is sound or not, our govt allows anyone to sue anyone for anything. viva la democracia. lol
The radio stationed threatened to call INS on her . The problem here is she is illegal she doesn’t know the laws. She does not have to be told of the laws because she is illegal, not a citizen of this country.
I live in Chicago, and even the illegals here think she is stupid.
She doesn’t have any rights in this country, but I’m glad she is willing to risk deportation just so she can get a free ride.
If she was a legal citizen she would have known she has to pay taxes on prize winnings

If they never said you have to be a US citizen then she has a case…. what if she was here on vacation and won it???

The station should call her and tell her to please report to the station and pick up her prize. Upon arrival ICE should CUFF her and STUFF her All the way back to Mexico.
this gets dumber & dumber by the day, it is difficult to believe some of the totally outrageous behavior exhibited by some of these criminals. What really boggles the mind are the people who continue to defend the criminals and their behaviors.

If every citizen of the United States has to show 2 forms of ID and have a valid ocial security number to claim a prize according to the Federal Law, then so be it..
I am jut so aggravated about this illegal trying to sue over a corvette that she has no legal right to claim as a financial gain…she has stolen enough from everyone in the US for 15 years already..

Should an illegal be able to ’sue’ an American? Um, let me think. NO. Why? Because as far as I’m concerned, they don’t have one damn right in this country except to get legal or leave.
Hopefully she is arrested and deported.
