I lived in Africa for 6 months and met a little boy that I’d like to adopt. He is eleven.
His parents said that they’ll sign any papers that need to be signed in order for me to be able to bring him to the U.S.
Do I have to legally adopt him or is it possible to just get legal guardianship and bring him here?
