Contract Signed, but Dealer Wants Truck Back. Can They Do This?

Just went to the car dealer last week and gave 5500.00 down payment for a work truck, signed contract and was able to leave dealer with truck.

They called me yesterday to say they couldnt get a bank to do the deal because its a work truck. I signed the contract thinking it was a done deal?

If I cant find a co-signer they want the truck back, can they do this if we have a contract already signed?

Sexual Abuse: Do I have a Case?

When I was about 15 a women use to sexually abuse and molest me all the way up til the age of 19, she would pay for hotels and stuff and blackmail me if I did not go along.

I am now 20 and she is 23.

is this a matter to take the police and will they do anything about it or just ignore it.

I am talking in regards to criminal not a civil case.

Tax Question: Help with Chapter 13

We have not filed taxes for 4 years and are in debt beyond our means.

We are wanting to rectify the situation with the IRS, but can we file a Chapter 13 since we had a Chapter 7 dismissed in Jan 2006, and could we include the taxes that we owe (assuming that we do) in that Chapter 13?

If so, is there someone with a reasonable fee to do both? Please help.

Service Master: No Estimate, then Overcharged – Is This Fraud?

I have called the Service master for helping me out in case of Water overflow in basement.

When they came in I asked for estimate they created lot of excuses to provide and estimate so I asked them rough estimate.

They told me around $2000 but now next day they send me bill of $3800!

My question: Is there a way I can file a fraud case?

They also showed me Sample pricing list which was showing 0.35 cents per SQ FT now they charged .85 cents per SQ. ft

Note : They DID NOT provide written estimates and that is the issue.

Is there a way I can file a fraud case against him?

Victim of Fraud: Then Charged for a Misdemeanor, Please Advise

I have a question about something that happened to me about 2 years ago….

I was unemployed and approached in a chat room about “working from home”. With being desperate for money I agreed to talk with this person. I was asked to accept packages and then once I got them, I was supposed to get an email on where to ship them to and i would get paid for my help.

Well, to make a long story short, i ended up getting 3 checks in the mail, which I didn’t know at the time were counterfeit, til after i took all three to the bank and put them into my account.

I ended up being charged with theft, the cops and the bank, said that I had made the checks myself and put them into my own account to defraud the bank of the money. I have never done anything criminal and wasn’t planning on starting then.

When I tried to give the cops the explanation on what had happened, they said I didn’t have enough proof. I had the emails from this person that i was “dealing” with. I never met this person before or talked to them on the phone, I never found out thier real name. All I had was an email address.

So, i ended up with a misdemeanor theft charge.

Here is my question, a few months ago, i got a letter in the mail from the us dept. of justice in georgia, about a man who was being charged with fraud, and my name had came up in thier case.

I want to know if there is anything that can be done with my guilty plea or possibly obtaining a new ss#. I know that it is legal to ask for a new ss# when you are a victim of fraud. I have had to deal with alot with this whole mess and i realize now that i should have been alittle smarter but i don’t know what to do now.

I get email notification from the justice dept. about the case and i am registered on thier victim’s website…

Can anything be done?
